Introductory Flights:

Want to try flying on for size?  We offer a 30-minute intro flight for a flat rate of $75.00.  You’ll occupy the pilot’s seat, and get a basic introduction to what being in the airplane, flying out to the practice area, and completing some of the most basic maneuvers looks and feels like.  Contact us today to schedule!

Flight Training:

We’ve taught quite a few people how to fly (in the hundreds), and we view flight training as both an art and a science.  With the industry-average for a Private Pilot hovering around 75 hours (the FAA minimum is 40), our average training time has been at or near 50 hours for years.  We like to get you into the airplane on day one, and from the very first lesson we begin building higher-level skills that you’ll carry throughout your flying career.  Our training goes beyond “see it-do it;” as we’ve mentioned elsewhere, we believe that a student ought to learn how to learn how to fly, and we think that makes a huge difference.

Ground School:

Ground school makes up some of the most important training you'll receive.  We have a well-developed, proven ground school curriculum for each certificate and rating we offer.  This is done one-on-one, and is spaced in with the flight lesson appointments.  It is designed to equip you to be an above-average decision maker, to equip you to easily learn new airplanes and requirements, and to equip you to master the FAA oral exam. 

Sport Pilot Training:

Training for the Sport Pilot Certificate falls outside the scope of our mission, so we do not offer it at this time.
